Agnieszka Majcher-Dann

Agnieszka Majcher-Dann, MD, Global Head of Safety Science and Policy Consumer is a member of the Office of Consumer Medical Safety in the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Consumer Segment. She is  accountable for contribution to external policy concerning various aspects of product vigilance, industry group representation, new safety technology evaluation and advanced safety analytics methods development. She joined J&J Consumer Segment in 2008 as the deputy Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) Consumer and subsequently was appointed QPPV Consumer and the Global Head of Consumer Medicinal Products Safety in 2009.  In this role she led safety assessment and risk management groups consisting of physicians and scientists and oversaw all aspects of safety for consumer medicinal products. She was also accountable for ensuring that there is a compliant global pharmacovigilance system in place for these products.  Before joining J&J, she held the position of global drug safety physician at Ipsen with global responsibility for a number of therapeutic areas and spent 14 years with AstraZeneca in a variety of marketing, clinical, and drug safety roles.  Agnieszka obtained a medical degree at the Medical Academy in Warsaw.  She practiced at the Institute of Haematology as a physician and specialized in treatment of leukaemias, lymphomas and other myeloproliferative disorders.
