David Gao

David Gao has more than 10 years experience in major pharmaceutical companies, including Astrazeneca. He successfully led teams of physicians and scientists to accomplish high quality drug safety / pharmacovigilance works for both pre-marketing and post-marketing products. He has accomplished drug safety surveillance of new drugs clinical developments, from first in man, phase 1, phase 2 to phase 3 studies. He has contributed to multiple new drug market authorization submissions to many global health authorities, including US, EU, Japan, Korea, Canada, Germany, China, etc. He has trained physicians and scientists to become successful members of the company and built drug safety teams. He has worked successfully on both small molecule drugs and large biologics and combination therapies. He has experience in multiple disease specialties: oncology, cardiovascular (CV), metabolic diseases, diabetes, CNS disorders, infectious diseases, etc.
