Valerie Perentesis

Valerie Perentesis is a seasoned leader with 28 years of experience in academia, clinical pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical R&D. Her current position is Vice President, Global Medical Safety Operations at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson & Johnson Company.  Prior to joining Janssen, Valerie was at Bristol-Myers Squibb serving as the Executive Director Operations and Aggregate Safety Reporting. Before joining BMS, Valerie held a variety of leadership positions at Pfizer Global Research and Development.

Valerie received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from St. John’s University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed an ASHP Accredited Clinical Pharmacy Residency at the University of California at San Francisco.
